A year after having been to the final in Strassburg lost to Mechelen 0-1, in 1989 the club meets Otto in Vienna. A dutch guy, big Ajax fan, that would become a member of our club, and moreover a great friend. A good friend that never fails to come through with the beer and a party whenever we are in Holland, whether for a game or on vacation.true friendship began in April of 1990, having met up in the bedlam of the bleachers in the DeMeer stadium of Amsterdam during the rather "rocambolesque" match between Ajax-Roda 2-2. One the most exciting games in the club's history; with Ajax in the running for the Dutch Championship, and still down 2 goals only 10 minutes from the end of the match. year later, Walter arrives on the scene, and finds himself catapulted into one of the most entertaining transfers of the club; the last match of the championship between Ajax-Vitesse 3-0. Nevertheless, Ajax loses the title for a difference in goals to PSV, but the atmosphere and emotional highs, created an unforgettable climate.up pre-match at the "Old Sailor Pub" and "Le Berry" both during Championship, and European Cup games, is enough to get even the most sceptical "non-enthusiast" enthusiastic about soccer.
